Big News

The Peaches are moving to Dallas, Texas! 

Yes, you read that right T-E-X-A-S. 

After months of discussion, option weighing and prayers, we have made the decision to move our family to Dallas. Washington DC has been an amazing place to call home (after all we met here, fell in love here & our sweet Henry was born here)  but we cant wait to see what Dallas has in store for us. We are flying to Dallas this week to start our house hunt and in the mean time I'm in the process of packing up our condo in DC.   We must have twice as many boxes since the last time we moved - who knew a little person could have so much stuff!  

SNOW DAY

With the holidays and all of the traveling we have been doing I've found it hard to find time to post but one of my new years resolutions is to post at least once a week so here it goes! 

Last night DC had its first snow in 3 years (yes I know it was only an inch or two)  so this morning I took Henry out to play in it. He was less than thrilled by his snowsuit and my rendition of frosty the snow man haha 

White House Christmas

The White House extended an invitation to members of the Junior League of Washington DC to tour the White House while it was decorated for Christmas. I have been to the White House several times before while working on the Hill but this was the first time I have seen it decorated for the Holidays. It was magical, I hope you enjoy some of the photos I was able to take. 

National Christmas Tree Lighting

Tonight was the National Christmas Tree Lighting, did you look for us on TV? I'm certain you didn't see us but I think Henry & Caroline enjoyed the event . Here are some photos of our fun!

Merry Christmas from the White House! 

Christmas Photos!

For mothers day my lovely husband bought me a fancy camera so I could take wonderful photos of Henry and last night we did just that. I found some great shots on Pinterest that we were able to duplicate - here are a few of our favorites that we will be using on our Christmas card. 

First Foods

At Henry's 4 month check up the pediatrician gave us the go ahead to introduce pureed foods and baby oatmeal. After some trial and error Henry has decided his favorite is the PlumOrganics Apple. 

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree...

The Christmas season came early this morning with the news that we won tickets to The National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, held annually on the Ellipse to kick off the holiday season in our Nation’s Capital, this year the tree lighting will be held on Thursday, December 6 at 5:00 p.m. so be sure to look for us on TV! We were so blessed to win 6 (yes, SIX) tickets that I've invited my good friend Colleen and her family to join us. I cant wait to share this magic night with our little ones!
